Ingredients

  • 200 g Greek yogurt full-fat preferred for creaminess
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup fresh berries blueberries, raspberries, or sliced strawberries
  • 1/4 cup nuts toasted almonds or walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest optional, for brightness
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds for texture and health benefits

Equipment

  • Small mason jar
  • Spoon
  • Knife
  • Small skillet

Method

  1. Toast the nuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 3-5 minutes until fragrant and golden. Let them cool slightly.
  2. Add 200 grams of Greek yogurt into your small jar, filling it about halfway. Use the back of a spoon to smooth the surface.
  3. Drizzle a tablespoon of honey over the yogurt to add a touch of floral sweetness.
  4. Sprinkle a teaspoon of chia seeds over the yogurt for added crunch and nutrition.
  5. Add the fresh berries on top, pressing them gently into the yogurt for a colorful burst of juiciness.
  6. Scatter the toasted nuts over the berries for a crunchy, nutty aroma.
  7. Finish by adding a small amount of lemon zest on top for a citrusy zing and extra brightness.
  8. Seal the jar with a lid and give it a gentle shake to combine flavors, or leave layered for a beautiful presentation.
  9. Let the jar sit for 5 minutes to allow flavors to meld or enjoy immediately for a fresh, vibrant snack.

Notes

Feel free to customize with your favorite fruits or nuts. For a dairy-free version, substitute Greek yogurt with coconut or almond yogurt. Add extra honey or zest just before serving for maximum flavor.
