Method
- Measure out the bourbon, fruit juice, and simple syrup, then add them to the blender.
- Add the ice cubes to the blender on top of the liquid ingredients.
- Secure the lid on the blender and pulse a few times to start breaking up the ice.
- Blend on high for about 30-60 seconds until the mixture is smooth, thick, and frosty with a slushy consistency.
- Check the texture—if it's too thick, add a splash of juice and blend briefly to loosen; if too thin, add more ice and pulse again.
- Pour the whiskey slushie into glasses, optionally garnished with fresh fruit or a sprig of mint.
Notes
Serve immediately for the best icy texture. You can freeze leftovers briefly to keep the consistency firm before serving.
