Method
- Measure out the milk, crushed ice, sweetener, and vanilla extract to prepare your ingredients.
- Add the milk to the blender, followed by the crushed ice for that signature slushie texture.
- Pour in the sweetener and add the vanilla extract for added flavor.
- Secure the lid on the blender, then blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth, thick, and frosty, about 30-45 seconds. Listen for the swishing sound and watch for the icy texture to develop.
- Stop the blender and check the consistency; it should be creamy with a snow-like appearance and a little resistance when stirred.
- Pour the frozen milkshake slushie into glasses, allowing some of the icy texture to remain visible on top.
- If desired, garnish with a sprig of mint or a slice of fruit for a colorful touch before serving.
Notes
For an extra flavorful variation, add fruit puree or cocoa powder before blending.
